Oh November days in North Carolina... Just walking around the neighborhood brings out many a pretty sight. As well as handsome young men who wait around quietly to have their photos taken. The knife, I believe, was leftover from Halloween. At least I think it was.

OK... you have so much stuff to give to the newspaper. Are they printing it in color. It would be hard for all the the subtleties to come through on newspaper print.
