Jar o' Fish

More Barbie. More fish. Part of a bigger series, I hope. Fun with flash. Too much free time right now?

Hawkeye and the Victrola

I took this very quickly (obviously) during the weekend we made a film for the 48 Hour Film Festival in Greensboro. Our friend has a beautiful old Victrola (as well as a lovely dog named Hawkeye) that we used for a scene we shot in the late afternoon as the sunlight poured into their beautiful blue room. I was actually the Script Supervisor on the film so I could only take very quick shots in between takes in an attempt to document the weekend. It was a long, hot 48 hours but lots of fun and a movie to boot!

Maine Evening

I shot this over our August break in our house in Maine. The summer light always pours through the kitchen window in the early evening and is quite a sight to behold. I'm not sure I really captured it here, but in the larger version (for some reason) you can see the color a bit better.
