A New Year

We very gently rolled into 2010 in Texas while visiting family. Sparklers, champagne, board games and belated Christmas present exchanges got us in the spirit. New Year's Day was sparkly and bright; a good day for contemplation and plans, talk of projects and where the year might take us.

Fiesta!

Fiesta is a big deal in San Antonio. Although I only got a glimpse of the first night, I'm pretty certain a whole lot of fun was had over the course of the weekend. Here's a tiny peek at two scenes we stumbled upon. Junior High Mariachi bands could not be cooler.
