In March, my Monkeywhale partners and I had the distinct pleasure of attending the Miami International Film Festival and viewing our city winning 2010 48 Hour Film on the big screen. There was lots to learn and see and smell and taste and of course photo ops a' plenty. Good times, great weather and movie inspiration everywhere! More on all of these things here.

Hawkeye and the Victrola

I took this very quickly (obviously) during the weekend we made a film for the 48 Hour Film Festival in Greensboro. Our friend has a beautiful old Victrola (as well as a lovely dog named Hawkeye) that we used for a scene we shot in the late afternoon as the sunlight poured into their beautiful blue room. I was actually the Script Supervisor on the film so I could only take very quick shots in between takes in an attempt to document the weekend. It was a long, hot 48 hours but lots of fun and a movie to boot!
