New England, December
December in Connecticut is anything but predictable. Although my childhood memories are chock full of windshield scraping, driveway shoveling and frozen hair at the bus stop, it is important to note that sometimes the sun comes out. Cold, yes, but often there is beautiful intense light that's gone in a flash. I got to visit my Mom last week to get in the winter spirit. It's good to go home.

Beautiful, Carolyn!
love it.... so cold and crisp... I love the seed pod
Thanks ladies! Jess, that seed pod was inspired by you! I felt your nature-loving spirit as I pressed the shutter. :)
