Carolina Beach in January is wonderful. It's always quite and often cold and the light can be spectacular. This is sunrise streaming across a green wall in our hotel room. It's rare that I get up for sunrise, but whenever I can manage it, it's always rewarding.

i love this shot. that green is so awesome! i like how everything else is dark so your eyes stay on that wall.
